To create a notification, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings | System | Notifications;
- The list of notifications will be displayed;
- Click on Create;
- The notification creation screen will be displayed. In the Rules tab, you can define the rules for sending the notification.
Notifications can be dynamically sent to additional recipients, depending on the rules defined. When a notification rule is met, the additional and fixed recipients for sending the notification are determined.
The notification rules are grouped by category as follows::
- Requests
- When a request is created;
- When a request changes status;
- When a new follow-up message is added;
- Work order
- When a work order is created;
- When a work order changes status;
- When a work order is assigned;
- When a new follow-up message is added;
- Preventive Maintenance
- When a preventive maintenance is created;
- When a preventive maintenance changes status;
- Before the preventive maintenance event;
- Number of days prior to notifications being sent;
- Meters
- When the meter value is greater than a certain value;
- When the meter value is a multiple of a certain value;
- Monitorings
- When the value is greater than the upper action limit;
- When the value is higher than the upper warning limit;
- When the value is lower than the lower warning limit;
- Parts and Inventory
- When the stock is lower than the minimum defined by warehouse, if it is not defined by the minimum stock defined in the part;
- Contracts
- When the contract notification date is reached;
- Background Services
- When the KPI service fails;
- When the availability service fails;
- When the preventive maintenance service fails.
The rules for determining additional recipients are the following:
- Requester: sends email/push notification to the requester of the request (applies to requests only);
- Asset responsible people: sends email/push notification to the people responsible for the asset;
- Workshop Managers: sends email/push notification to workshop managers, if defined. If no workshop is associated, sends to all managers of all workshops.
- Employees Assigned to the Work Order: sends email/push notification to all employees assigned to the work order.
- Work Order Responsible: sends email/push notification to the person responsible for the work order.
- Contract Responsible: sends email/push notification to the person responsible for the contract;
- Contract assets responsible: sends email/push notification to the person responsible for the asset.
The sending rules are the following:
- Email: sends an email message.
- Push Notification: sends a push notification to CMMS Web and CMMS Mobile.
Fill in the data. The information to be filled in is organized in tabs. Mandatory fields are indicated by an orange border or can be consulted in the bottom right-hand corner, next to the Reset button.
The type of notification used for each rule in CMMS Web is:
- Background services: error;
- Meters: warning;
- All other rules: information;
Links to edit the rule-related entity in the CMMS Web push notification are automatically generated if the key and description tags are used in the submission template.
The maximum length of the notification is 1,024 characters, including HTML code, such as links or other elements.
