Valuekeep provides several lists that allow you to view detailed information about work orders (WOs), including origin, assignments, statuses, messages, and associated failures:
View the technician's work orders
The technician has access to a list of all the work orders assigned to them.
To view the list, go to Work | My WOs.
The list has the following criteria:
- It is available only to the technician role;
- The list is sorted in descending order by work order date;
- From the list, you can access the details of the associated work order;
- You can filter the list by using the search box and selecting the field to search.
View the traceability of the work order
You can view the origin of work orders (request, preventive maintenance event, or manual creation).
To view the work order traceability list, go to Work | Explore Work | Work Order Traceability.
The list has the following criteria:
- It is only available to administrator and work manager profiles;
- By default, it displays work orders with an expected date in the current quarter;
- The list is sorted in descending order by expected date;
- From the list, you can view details for:
- Work order;
- Event;
- Preventive maintenance;
- Request.
- It allows you to search by using the search box and selecting the field to search;
- The work manager can only view work orders from the workshops they manage.
View work order state transitions
You can view all the state transitions that the work order has gone through.
To do so, go to Work | Explore Work | Work Order State Transitions.
This feature is available only to administrators and maintenance managers.
You can filter the transactions displayed in the list by transaction date range.
View work order assignments
The assignment list lets you see which work orders have been assigned and to which technicians.
To view the list of work order assignments, go to Work | Explore Work | Assignments.
The list of assignments has the following criteria:
- It is only available to administrator and work manager roles;
- By default, it displays work orders with an expected date in the current quarter;
- The list is sorted in descending order by expected date;
- You can filter the list displayed by States and Employees;
- No employee selected: displays all work orders (assigned and unassigned);
- Employee(s) selected: displays only work orders assigned to them;
- No state selected: displays work orders in all statuses;
- State(s) selected: filters work orders by the selected statuses;
- From the list, you can access the details of the associated work order;
- The technician can be assigned to:
- Work Order: all maintenance plans and their associated tasks are assigned to the technician. In this case, the following fields in the list are left blank: Maintenance Plan, Task, and Additional Work Task;
- Plan: all tasks in the plan are assigned to the technician. In this case, the Maintenance Plan field is filled in, and the Task and Additional Work Task fields are left blank;
- Task: the task in question is assigned to the technician. In this case, the Maintenance Plan and Task fields are filled in. The Additional Work Task field is left blank;
- Additional Work Task: the additional work task is assigned to the technician. In this case, the Maintenance Plan and Task fields are left blank. The Additional Work Task field is filled in.
View follow-up messages
Work orders may include follow-up messages, which are useful for analysis and record-keeping.
To view the list of follow-up messages, go to Work | Explore Work | Follow-up Messages.
The message list has the following criteria:
- It is only available to administrator roles;
- By default:
- It displays messages created in the current quarter;
- It displays the last five messages for each work order;
- It is sorted in descending order by date;
- It allows you to apply general filters and columnfilters;
View task verifications
Work orders may include tasks from maintenance plans or additional tasks that require verification.
The task verification list allows you to view the tasks that require verification within work orders.
To access this list, go to Work | Explore Work | Task Verifications;
To view the detailed list of tasks, you need to go to Work | Explore Work | Task Verifications (Detail).
These lists are based on the following criteria:
- They are only available to administrator and work manager roles;
- By default, they only display work orders with an expected date in the current quarter;
- They are sorted in descending order by the expected date of the work order;
- They only display work orders that contain tasks requiring verification;
- They allow you to search and apply filters. By default, the following filters are selected (and can be changed):
- The Work Order, Description, in the Task Verifications list;
- Work Order, in the Task Verifications (Detail) list;
View the failures associated with work orders
You can view the failures recorded for assets through work orders.
To view the list of recorded asset failures, go to Work | Explore Work | Failures.
The list of failures has the following criteria:
- It is only available to administrator and work manager roles;
- By default, it displays only the failures with a date in the current quarter;
- It allows you to view the details of the associated work order.
Access to the features described in this article depends on the user's role.
