How to add batch characteristics to an equipment/tool from its family?

For the maintenance manager, cataloging assets is very important. To facilitate the association of characteristics to equipment from the family file, it is possible to propagate these characteristics to all equipment/tools belonging to the same family.

To propagate the characteristics of a family to equipment/tools, the following steps must be followed:

1. Access the menu by selecting Settings | General | Families;
2. Select a family;
3. Click on Propagate Characteristics;
4. Select the equipment to which the family characteristics are to be propagated;
5. Click on Propagate.

The characteristics will be propagated to the selected equipment/tools.

If no characteristics are selected, all characteristics will be propagated.

Propagation is performed in the background and its status can be monitored via the Batch Processing Status list.
