To change the state of a Request, follow these steps:
- On the Dashboard, select the option "Requests" or select the option "Requests" on the menu. On the Requests list, select the request you wish to change;
- On the request view, select the state.
- The list of possible states to change is presented.
- Select the state which you want to change the request to;
When changing states, you must consider the following:
- To undo the changes performed, before synchronizing, click on the arrow at the right of the state.
- If the state transition performed needs to be justified, a pop-up is presented;
- If the state selected is a state with no changes possible, you will no longer be able to access the state list.
State transition justification - If the state transition performed needs to be justified, a pop-up is presented. On the justification dialog box, there are the following fields:
- Justification – This is automatically filled in if there is a default justification;
- Justification type – This is automatically filled in if there is a default justification type associated to the justification selected. This field is only available after selecting the change justification;
- Notes – free text;
All fields can be filled in, but one of the fields is mandatory: Justification or Notes
