Decree-Law no. 152-D/2017, of December 11, unifies the flow management scheme for waste subject to the principal of responsibility extended to the producer. Among other changes, the requirement for producers and distributors to specify , over the course of the chain, the transactions between economic operators have been established – Visible Fee.
This new obligation enters into force on January 1st, 2020. However, there are still questions on how to implement it, specifically, on what to include on the invoices, as well as the visibility of the information on the different flows included.
In this context, considering the information available, PRIMAVERA chose to add references to waste management entities, regarding the ecovalues specified on the documents issued between the economic operators. It is worth noting that documents issued to final customers are excluded.
This way, it will be necessary to perform a set of configurations:
Mark the items with ecotaxes
To include a reference in the documents, it is necessary to mark the items as subject to ecotax.
Activate the option Shows Ecovalue
On the document type on the series, you must activate the option Shows Ecovalue. For this, follow these steps:
- Access Tables | Sales | Sales Document;
- Access the tab Series;
- Access the tab Tax System and activate the option Shows Ecovalue;
- Click Save.
Configure the entity
To set up on the entity the data that are worth including on the reference, follow these steps:
- Access Tables | Sales | Sales Document;
- Access the tab Series;
- Access the tab Tax System and activate the option Shows Ecovalue;
- Click Save.

To set up on the entity the data that are worth including on the reference, follow these steps:
- Access Tables | Inventory | Ecovalue | Waste Types;
- Select the type of waste that wished to change or create a new type of waste;
- Specify the Entity that manages the waste;
- Click Save.
Note: All the remaining information necessary for the reference are removed from the existent information on the entity and on the waste.
After setting up the entities, when creating documents with items subject to ecovalues, the reference to the transaction will automatically be presented and the waste management entity data on the document will be retrieved.
