How to set up the workstations?

On the POS, several features that allow to block the workstation are available at the end of a specific downtime period, view the state of each workstation and associate keys to facilitate the access to each workstation. Besides, the virtual keyboard has been made available.

Configure the automatic workstation block

The automatic workstation block is a feature that allows to block the workstation after a specific downtime period and, this way, stop another operator from performing postings in an account other than their own.

To set up the automatic workstation block, follow these steps:

1. Access Marketing & Sales | Sales | Resources | Tables | Points of Sale | Points of Sale;
2. Edit the workstation;
3. On the tab General, select the option Block terminal and specify the maximum downtime;
4. Click Save.

Set up shortcuts

On the Points of Sale, each available option can be associated to a key or set of keys to facilitate the access. Regardless of this configuration, you can access these options using the mouse.

To set up the short keys by workstation, follow these steps:

1. Access Marketing & Sales | Sales | Resources | Tables |Points of Sale | Points of Sale;
2. Specify the point of sale to set up;
3. On the tab Operation/key, set up the necessary operations;
4. Click Save.

View the points' state

To view the points of sales state, follow these steps:

1. Access Marketing & Sales |Sales | Exploration | Points of Sale | Points' State;
2. Select the option Cash registers current state;
3. Click Update.

Set up station for touchscreen use

To ensure more productivity and usability of the touchscreens, a set of new features has been made available on the POS, namely, the new virtual keyboard.

To set up a station for touchscreen use, follow these steps:

1. Access the station setup in Marketing & Sales | Sales | Resources | Tables | Points of Sale | Points of Sale;
2. Activate the option Touchscreen optimized environment;
3. Click Save.

After activating this option, when you enter the POS on the corresponding station, a virtual screen will be presented every time data needs to be inserted.
