How to associate assets to workshops?

For bigger clients with several workshops, there is frequently the need to specify assets (equipment, tools and locations) that each workshops have access to. Using this feature, the user can specify the assets associated to each workshop. When creating a work order only the workshops where the asset is configured is presented.

To configure the assets that each workshop can access, select the option Settings| Assets | Asset Group;

1. The list of asset groups displayed;
2. Press the "Create" button.

When creating and editing the asset groups, you must consider:

1. On the Locations tab, you can associate locations to workshops.
2. On the Equipment tab, you can associate equipment and tools to workshops.

From this moment on, an asset group has been created and it is possible to associate it to a workshop, for that, follow these steps:

1. Access the menu Workshops and Employees | Workshops;
2. Select a workshop and edit;
3. When editing, click the button "+" on the tab "General" with the option "Asset Restrictions";
4. On the "Asset Restrictions", you can associate the desired asset groups.
