On the Universe line, you can have a subscription with several companies and define a set of information for each company, including users and time zone.

Add more companies to a subscription

  1. Access Settings | General | Companies;
  2. Press the Create button;
  3. Fill in the mandatory data;
  4. Click on Save.
After creating the company, you can switch between companies in the company selector (located above in the features menu). Whenever you want to create records, they are associated with the company selected in the selector.

Restrict user access by company

When more than one company is added to a subscription, you can specify the user that can access each company. The access restriction process is divided in two steps:

Step 1: Create Restriction Groups

  1. Access the menu Settings | System | Groups;
  2. Click on Create;
  3. Enter the group's identification data and select the users you want to be in this group;
  4. Click in Save.

Step 2:  Adding the restriction groups to the company:

  1. Access the menu Settings | General | Companies;
  2. Creating or editing the company;
  3. Click on the + icon and select the Access Restrictions tab;
  4. Select the user group previously created;
  5. Click on Save.

Users have access to notifications if they have access to the company.

Set up time zone and the organization currency by company

When adding more companies to a subscription, it is possible to specify the settings for each company.

  1. Access the menu Settings | General | Companies;
  2. Creating or editing the company;
  3. Add the Settings tab.

The dates present when sending notifications will be converted to the chosen time zone. If a time zone is not chosen, the default will be UTC +00:00

You can only change the organization's currency if there are no records in the tables with base/reporting currency (only transactional/documents, stock entries/issues and costs).

See the data in the Lists

The list data is always filtered by the company selected on the company selector. You cannot view the data for all the companies simultaneously on the same list.

After selecting the company on the company selector, the Valuekeep CMMS solution is filtered for the selected company. The new logs created are associated to the company selected on the company selector.
When there is more than one company, there is data common to all companies and data specific for each company.
