Social Security provides the Add Pay Period service on the Interoperability Platform with the aim of enabling the reporting of changes solely to the amount of salary and/or seniority allowances of employees.

Add Pay Period

Changes to salary amounts and/or seniority allowances can be reported via the ERP system using:

You must use one of these options to report only salary and/or seniority payments. If you have changed other relevant details in the Employee Record (working hours, job title, contract type, etc.), you should use the Change Contract service.

To update the salary and/or length of service via the Employee Record, follow one of the procedures below:

  1. Make the relevant changes to the employee’s details;
  2. In the Employee Record, on the Employee Record Protection Schemestab, in the section relating to Notification of Change, click on the option Notify and then on Pay Period;
  3. Log in to the Soc. Security Interoperability Platform (if not already in place);
  4. A window will appear showing the historical dates taken into account by the application in relation to the contract amendment:
    • Date of Last Increase;
    • Date of change to Salary in the record;
    • Date of change to length of service in the record;
  5. In the calendar, a date is pre-set based on historical dates, but you can change it. The date specified here will be used in the report as the Reference Date for the data to be reported;
  6. Click onConfirm;
  7. Validate the data to be reported;
  8. Click on Confirm.
Note: Whenever you change the Monthly Salary and Monthly Seniority Allowancefields, you will be asked whether you wish to report the changes made to the Soc. Security authorities, and if so, must ensure that the fields Date of Last Increase or Length of Service Date are completed, respectively. It will then be forwarded to the authentication section via the Soc. Security Interoperability Platform.

Once you have confirmed the changes, the result of the communication request will be displayed:

  • If the registration is successful, the date and time of the notification are entered in the Change Notification field on the Protection Schemes tab of the Employee Record;
  • If any problem/inconsistencyis detected, a description is displayed to enable it to be corrected.

View History

All notification attempts are recorded under the History option in the Employee File, allowing you to view:

  • Number of notification attempts made;
  • Date and time of notification attempts;
  • User who made the request;
  • Information reported;
  • Result of the notification and the relevant details;
  • Operation performed.
