During the commercial chain, there are situations of purchasing and selling assembled items that due to their nature can be subject to the application of different ecotaxes. For example, cellphones can be subject to a packaging tax, a battery tax and another tax for electronic components.

However, in the invoice received from the supplier, only the total tax applied to the item is presented.

To handle these situations, follow these steps:

  1. Create the item on the system;
  2. Specify the item subject to ecotax:
  3. Don't specify any type of waste;
  4. Configure the editor (Purchase and/or Sales) in order to present the column regarding the ecotax.
Since the item has no associated waste, the editor field must be available for editing, allowing to specify the applied ecotax value. This procedure ensures that the value is unchanged over the course of the chain.
