On the ERP, it is possible to control the stock for the items inserted on the document using the feature Out of Stock, as well as check the current stock for a specific item on the different warehouses.
Select stock from a different warehouse
The sales editor controls the stock for the items inserted on the document, if the Out of Stock option is active. This way, when detecting that the stock quantity is insufficient when comparing to the specified value, two alternatives are presented:
- Use the replacement item on the corresponding item file;
- Select another warehouse or location for this item.
To select the stock for another warehouse or location, follow these steps:
- Access Marketing & Sales | Sales | Documents;
- Create a new document;
- Specify an item that does not have stock in the warehouse;
- The system will present the Insufficient Stock window is the option Out of Stock is active; Note: A grid will be presented with theItem Stocks, in which the data can be filtered according to the optionWith Stock and Only Current Warehouse;
- Specify the quantity for the Warehouse/Location to be used; Note: If it is an item with Lots Management, the system automatically selects the Warehouse/Lot;
- Finally, click Confirm.
Check current stock
On the ERP there are shortcuts that allows to perform specific operations. For example, F11 allows to check the current stock for a specific item in the different warehouses.
To check the current stock for an item, on the editor, follow these steps:
- Access the sales editor in Marketing & Sales | Sales | Documents;
- Edit a document or create a new one;
- On the document rows, select the item that you wish to check the stock;
- Click the key F11 or select Stock in all warehouses on the context menu;
- Confirm the stocks in the different warehouse.
When the document is saved, the "Avail. Stock" column presents values equal to the ones on the "Current Stock" column. If the document hasn't been saved, the stock values specified on the "Avail. Stock" column match the current stock minus the quantity inserted on the document.
For example, there are 10 items in the current stock and in the document specifies that the order quantity is 4 items. The available stock column will present 6 items.
