The Interoperability Services Platform is a service provided by the Institute of Information Technology. According to the description on the platform’s official website ,it is a web services platform that enables direct and secure data and information exchange, between computer systems, in a transparent and simplified manner (...) designed and conceived to make life easier for all economic actors – citizens and businesses – who transmit information to the Social Security system.
Integration with Soc. Security
The Human Resources module offers a range of functions integrated with the National Insurance system to streamline processes and enable a direct link between the National Insurance system and businesses. This makes it possible to:
- Record the employment relationship for staff admitted to the Soc. Security;
- Report changes to contracts over time or supplement information on contracts reported by the employer before 1 April 2022;
- Report terminations of contracts;
- Validate the data in the employee’s file, comparing it with the data held by Soc. Security;
- Identify discrepancies in the Declaration of Income for Soc. Security before you submit it.
Available Features
These features require integration between the ERP Human Resources module and the Interoperability Platform.
Before using these services, the company must register with the Interoperability Platform on the Segurança Social Direta website. Once registered, access to the Platform and the related services available via the ERP is granted using the NISS and the passwordused to access Segurança Social Direta. This means you do not need to request a new password. Simply use your company’s existing credentials to log in to the ERP system and access the features of the Interoperability Platform.
If the company is not registered with Segurança Social Direta, it must first register with the service and only then join the Interoperability Platform.
